    Don't forget to make a good project/provide a good service. I know a lot of people who stand by similar advice, but don't actually provide enough quality to back up their cocksure take on avoiding criticism.

    Trying to please everyone is not only a loosing battle but it can often make one miserable and/or upset. I am speaking from experience. I used to knock myself out trying to please everyone and when I couldn't I would get upset.

    I saw it as a failure. I just have a tendency to be a people pleaser. I still am but have modified it. I try to please as many people as I can but realize that not everyone can be pleased and don't get upset over it.
