The Savvy Entrepreneur: Are you ‘undervaluing your worth’?

  • Jenn Givler · 3 years ago
    Cristina,

I agree with you. I reach out to women entrepreneurs who are just starting their business. They cannot afford $100 per hour for coaching. My one-on-one fees are lower than what I see others charge, but I don't feel bad about that.

I also offer info products and classes so that I can help more people. If someone still has an issue with my one-on-one fee, they can always take one of my classes or purchase an info product.

I see it like you do - pricing my services and offering info products is a win/win for everyone.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this. I don't feel bad about my pricing structure, but sometimes, ya feel like if you're not charging on the same level as everyone else, you're committing a crime LOL!

Another great post Cristina! I know that I too am guilty of this offense.

I would agree though that I don't think this is necessarily a gender issue. Personally, I think it is more a result of anxiety in the beginning phase of a new business. It is very easy to get so caught up in getting those first clients that pricing becomes secondary to having a feeling that your business will be able to get business.
